Since 30 years, academics, members of police, police educations and security professionals meet at the activities organised by the
“Centre for Policing and Security” (CPS).

CPS is an independant organisation organization promoting the cooperation between academics, the police and security professionals.  The mission consists out of adding possible solutions, from a police and scientific point of view, to security issues in society and problems in the security sector. To achieve this goal the CPS created a cooperation between the police, security professionals and academics that promotes a critical attitude, but also values empathy. The sector of security and the previously mentioned security issues and problems in our society are evaluated and solved in a more efficient way with a maximum number of relevant participating parties.
